Separate catalogs have been prepared for the Kramer and Rose collections and for the classic U.S. stamps and covers sale featuring the Allen and Houdon collections.

A highlight is a mint example of the well-known 1962 4¢ Thatcher Ferry Bridge stamp with silver omitted.

Highlights of the sale include graded U.S. stamps, proofs and essays of the popular U.S. 1869 Pictorial issue, a collection of rare plate blocks, flight covers and U.S. possessions.

According to the auction house, the sales will be conducted quarterly with the next one tentatively planned for October.

The production miscue is a vertically imperforate horizontal pair of the 1982 20¢ America’s Library stamp.

Fawn specialized in and exhibited the Large Queen issues for many years, winning gold awards at numerous shows from 1999 to 2019.

The seven-day auction series will feature seven separate catalogs offering an extensive array of stamps and postal history.

Specialized U.S. holdings that will be up for bids are the John Drew collection of Arizona postal history and the Manwood collection of express company labels.

Stamps with vending- and affixing-machine perforations are listed and valued in the Scott Specialized Catalogue of United States Stamps and Covers.

Both collections up for bids offer collectors numerous opportunities to add desirable stamps in exceptional condition to their holdings.

The typewritten Uganda Missionary stamps are the creation of the Rev. Ernest Millar of the Church Missionary Society.
